Want to be your own boss this summer? If you're a student 15 to 29 years old, then you can be part of Summer Company. It's an Ontario government program to help you start up and run your own business.
Your application has to include a business plan and cash-flow projection, which a Summer Company program provider in your area can help you with. If you're a successful applicant, you'll be eligible for an award of up to $3,000.
And get this—by submitting your application early, you could win one of two HP Pavilion laptops and DeskJet printer combinations. Applications submitted by February 29 receive two chances to win. Applications submitted between March 1 and March 31 get one chance. See the contest rules for details.
